Trendies was co-founded by dYdX alumni, Everett Hu and Lucas Wotton.
We have raised $1.75M in pre-seed funding from Archetype and Coinbase Ventures, along with a host of rockstar angels and advisors from dYdX, Magic Eden, Polygon, Eclipse, and Privy.
Everett was previously Head of Product at dYdX. During his five years at dYdX, Everett was responsible for building out the first three versions of the web app. He hired and led the frontend engineering, mobile engineering, design, and product teams, and helped build the cultural foundations of the company.
Lucas was previously a senior software engineer at dYdX for 3 years. Lucas led key projects such as creating the orderbook and liquidation engine of dYdX chain, as well as the launch of dYdX governance.
